Jazz vocalist, composer, lyricist and vocal coach Courtney Cutchins presents her anticipated genre-bending, debut album of original fusion-inspired songs and arrangements of 90’s rock reimaginings. With “Grunge to Grace,” the music shimmers in the cosmic space between darkness and light, calling the listener to create beauty from life’s challenges and live in their most luminous, authentic self.

Influenced by echoes of Jeff Buckley, Billy Strayhorn, David Bowie and Sarah Vaughan – and featuring the highly acclaimed, epic dream team of pianist/producer David Cook (Taylor Swift, Mark Guiliana, Lizz Wright), guitarist Nir Felder (Keyon Harrold, Cautious Clay), bassist Matt Clohesy (Darcy James Argue, Maria Schneider) and drummer Obed Calvaire (JLCO, SFJAZZ), as well as guests Daniel Sadownick on percussion and Max Bernstein on guitar.
